Nurse educators and inter-professional colleagues play an instrumental role in achieving health equity and social justice for all people. The National League for Nursing and Walden University College of Nursing's new Institute for Social Determinants of Health and Social Change is uniquely designed to develop individuals to become leaders of social change who can address the impact of structural racism, socioeconomic status, environment, education, adequate housing, and food insecurity on health and wellbeing.
